Recently I bought a house and have been renovating it with the help of my architect girlfriend. So far we have done it all ourselves (minus plumbing and electrical). I built a closet and filled in a wall with a doorway in order to make the one bedroom into a two bedroom. After spackling, painting, refinishing the floors, adding a dishwasher, and giving the kitchen a face-lift, the unit is finished! You can see some before and after pictures below!
