A little bit about my background....

I graduated from the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth in June, 2015 with a Bachelors of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering with a focus in Product Design. I earned my Bachelors of Arts in Mechanical Engineering and Psychology from Dartmouth in 2014.

Once I earned my B.E., I moved down to Boston to work at a product design company called Eleven, LLC. I completed an internship there before moving to another Boston product design firm called Clear Design Lab. I enjoyed my time there, but decided to expand my skill set and engage with a bigger team by moving to tool., inc. After 4 years designing products at a consultancy, I decided to transition to working on internal projects. I joined the R&D team at the metal and carbon fiber 3D printing company, Markforged.

...plus some insight into me as a person

Though I’ve always been a tinkerer, an engineer at heart, I’ve also been fascinated with the brain and how people think. Psychology helps me to better understand an engineering problem from the user’s perspective, allowing me to excel at human centered design.

I love to question everything, and to dream up crazy ideas, but I think my drive and determination to create a product that I am truly satisfied with is what distinguishes me from others. I set myself very high standards, and if I’m not happy with something, then I learn from it, and try again!

Other than coming up with crazy inventions and fixing whatever I can get my hands on, I love to rehabilitate old speakers and sound equipment, create pottery, play basketball, mountain bike, travel, cook (and eat) spicy food, and freestyle rap.
